Memory of a Foodie...

On Monday, I was talking to a friend of mine and fellow foodie on messenger. He was giving me some flack about not updating my blog lately. Today, I am remembering that friend...

Wednesday, our dear friend Greg passed away at 34. He was rushed to the hospital not feeling well on Tuesday night, had an aneurysm, and passed Wednesday afternoon. He leaves behind a wonderful wife and friends and family who thought the world of him.

Greg and I shared a food connection. We talked food when we saw each other. With a dream of maybe some day working together on something culinary.

I cannot even begin to imagine, what Audrey (his wife) is going through. Unfortunately, I cannot be there for the services this weekend (hubby has made the trip), but I hope that she (and Greg) know that I am there in spirit...

Amy told me about this - even though I didn't know him, I am so sorry and my thoughts and prayers are with your family and his at this trying time. It never makes sense that a life would be taken at such a young age but it makes us all aware of how precious life is and how we should make every minute count.

Amy also told me the great news about speeding up the process and opening the way to realize cranberryRelish even sooner. I am so happy for you both ! Don't forget about that fabulous culinary school in Atlanta !!!
